The VCU Relay for Life would like to invite the vcu community to a Candle Light Vigil on Friday, Nov.6, 6-7pm at the Commons Plaza.
The event is to support the end of breast cancer awareness month.

This Monday October 19, 2009 a workshop will be held on effective speaking.
Br. Hasnain Chowdhury will be speaking on conduct and presentations during Jummah.
The workshop will take place in Richmond Salon III 4pm- 6:30pm, which is in the Commons.
MSA Joint Halaqas (Islamic study circle) will be taught by the brilliant and knowledgeable Sister Chantal from the Richmond Community. Topics to be covered:

Want to be trained on how you can be a leader? Want to make a difference for your ummah? The MSA will be holding a Leadership Training Workshop on Saturday Morning, October 3, in the Forum Room at 10am . There will be several activities and lectures throughout the day, that will help build leadership qualities, and appropriate knowledge that will help you to be a better leader on campus! If you are interested in being an active member in MSA, for this year or in the future, please do not miss this chance! Remember to come early, as we will try to begin right away. There will be a small fee of $5 to help pay for the materials need to the training program, please make sure to bring that in as soon as possible.
