*Sisters’ Qur’an Class: Starting Tuesday, January 24th, from 7:00-8:00PM in the Metro Rooms (Commons). Contact Sister Daud (daudrs@vcu.edu) with any questions.
*Brothers’ Qur’an Class: Starting Thursday, January 26th, from 6:00-7:00PM in the Metro Rooms (Commons). Contact Sister Daud (daudrs@vcu.edu) with any questions.

Special Winter Break Update
Assalaamu Alaykum!
Here’s an intersession update about ROOTs! Next semester the MSA will be introducing ROOTs brought to you by the Social & Education Committee. One hour education, one hour social activities and games. We are looking for students (BOTH GRADUATE & UNDERGRAD) to lead the first half of ROOTs which will be a student led halaqa/discussion. Your presentation only needs to be about 15 minutes long and should relate to Islam/Muslim youth. So if you’re interested please email Ruqayyah Daud @ daudrs@vcu.edu or Mariam Owais @ owaism@vcu.edu!

Sisters, please enter through VA Room A and leave your coats, bags and shoes in the corner/alcove by the door. This is the last Jummah prayer of the semester.
*Weekly Project Downtown is to be held after Jummah prayer in the Virginia Rooms. Please come out to help feed the hungry in Monroe Park! This is the last PD of the semester.
*All other events have been cancelled for the semester, too.

This Thursday Nov. 17, in the Commonwealth Ballrooms A & B at 7:30-9:00 p.m. Come out and have fun with your fellow MSA-ers, and get a chance to meet new people!.There will be fun and food and games! The weekly halaqa has been moved to the Richmond Salon I (ONE) for this week.
SISTERS! Come out this Friday to have fun, eat good food, and shake off some stress at SISTERS SOCIAL!!!! 7:30-11:30pm in Richmond Salons 2& 3. NO BOYS ALLOWED!
The costume theme this semester is futuristic, so girls, we’d love for you to come show off the trends of the future! If you can’t/rather not dress futuristically, Sisters Social is THE night for sisters to dress up nicely anyway and have a great time.
For those who have never been to a Sisters Social, it’s a time for girls to pull out some of their nicest outfits from the closet and party!
